Blade Chevrolet & RVs offers a free Lifetime Limited Powertrain Warranty with most new and pre-owned vehicles. Exclusions include those with 70K or more miles, 7 model years old, EVs, or from select exotic manufacturers.

What does this Lifetime Powertrain Warranty cost? Nothing. It is included in the purchase of a qualifying new or used vehicle from Blade Chevrolet & RVs.

Is there a deductible? No.

What are the maintenance requirements? The maintenance requirements include changing the oil and filter, checking and maintaining the transmission fluid level, topping off all fluid levels, and checking and maintaining the proper level of coolant.

How often does this maintenance need to be done? In the event the manufacturer requires the vehicle to be serviced using synthetic oil or synthetic oil blend, you must have your vehicle serviced at least every 12 months or 10,000 miles, whichever comes first. In the event the manufacturer does not require the vehicle to be serviced using a synthetic oil or synthetic oil blend, you are required to have your vehicle serviced at least every six months or 7,500 miles, whichever comes first. There is a grace period within 1 month or 1,000 miles (whichever comes first).

Can I do my own maintenance on the vehicle? No. The vehicle must be checked and serviced as outlined in the general provisions section of the Service Contract at a professional repair facility.

Do I need to have maintenance done at Blade Chevrolet & RVs? No. You can have the required maintenance done at any professional repair facility.

Can I have maintenance done in Canada? Yes. This service contract is good in both the USA and Canada.

Can my vehicle be used commercially? This service contract does not cover breakdowns on a vehicle that is used for commercial purposes, including but not limited to hauling, construction, deliveries, daily rentals, off-roading, carrying passengers for hire (other than ride-share services), and snow plowing.

Is there a waiting period before the warranty starts? Yes, this lifetime warranty includes a 4-month AND 4,000 mile waiting period after the Service Contract Date. Breakdowns incurred before or during the waiting period are not covered.
